4th of July in Middlesex County
What is there to do?
One of our favorite holidays is coming up: Independence Day! There is no better day to spend on the water in Middlesex County than the 4th of July! There will be fireworks and barbecues, watermelon and sparklers, and lots of time enjoyed with family and friends. Middlesex always has a lot going on for the 4th and this year is no different!
- DVL 5K and Kids Fun Run
- Oyster Festival Queen Contestant, Mackenzie Fletcher’s, “Shuck ‘Em Out of The Park” @ the Deltaville Ball Field after the 5K- There will baseball, blow-ups, and games galore! For more info you can call 804-695-4958
- Music and food at the Urbanna Town Marina at Upton’s Point
- 6pm July 5th-Boat Parade on Urbanna Creek with a contest for the best boat decorations
- 9pm July 5th-Fireworks over Urbanna Creek. Anchor your boat or watch from land.
Want to see some fireworks?
Anchor out in the Rappahannock on July 4th and 5th, and you will be surrounded by them. Not only will you get to see Urbanna’s beautiful display, but also all the homes and other counties setting them off! It’s a beautiful sight!
