Spring Maintenance Tips from Norton Yachts Service Manager

The following is a blog from Craig Beachler, Norton Yachts Service Manager:

March is the time to do some of your early spring maintenance.  The weather is still too cold to have hull painting or waxing done.  The time is right to do maintenance items such as deck winch service, teak cleaning, internal space cleaning, battery life testing, installation of equipment upgrades, pump filter cleaning, and inspection / replacement of worn sheets, halyards, anchor lines and mooring lines.

The Norton Yachts Service Department’s work load and scheduling will increase rapidly after the end of March and the beginning of warmer weather.  Take advantage of the current time to schedule and complete priority projects on your list of boating upgrades and maintenance items.   Call me if you have any questions! (804) 776-9211

See you at the boatyard!  Craig Beachler
