Part one- Carolyn & Whitney go to France: NEW Jeanneau 51

With 3 days packed of gorgeous boats and factory tours, we left France awestruck by the whole Jeanneau team and their outstanding brand.

Happy 60th Birthday, Jeanneau!

Happy 60th Birthday, Jeanneau!

On the second day of the meeting, we made our way to the Les Herbiers Factory, where we saw the NEW Jeanneau 51, the newest addition to the Jeanneau Yacht Series, and let us tell you, she is an absolute stunner!

The exterior of the boat provides the same style, comfort, and performance as her sisters, the 64 and 54. Aft facing lounge seats on both sides of the companionway that harmonize with the cockpit seating make for a comfortable place for two people to stretch out and enjoy their coffee. Also, there are two lounge chairs integrated into the swim platform, to provide a separate lounging space, and a comfortable retreat from the water after a swim.

The large cockpit table is entertainment headquarters with holders for your wine and champagne bottles, refrigerator, cup holders, and a removable plateau that can be used as a serving tray to bring out hors d’oeuvres. This cockpit table also provides a home for a life raft!

The Jeanneau 51 is offered in three possible layouts including a 3 cabin version with a master cabin forward, a VIP cabin aft, and a third smaller guest cabin. Below you find all the rich qualities of the Yacht Series including the options of different upholsteries and wood combinations. You also have tons of aesthetically pleasing and useful storage, including an optional wine cellar below a floorboard. The U-shaped galley is the perfect place to prepare a meal to entertain at the large dinette below, or the cockpit table above.

We were so pleased with the design of the Jeanneau 51, and we know it’s going to be a popular boat on the Chesapeake Bay as a luxury yacht with a shoal draft of just 5’ 8”.

The Jeanneau 51 will make her debut in the US in February at the Strictly Sail Miami Show.

So who wants to get their orders in??
