Coastal Cruising – $695

With the basics in place, the sailor will be able to cruise safely as a skipper or crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat of moderate size. Focus will be on wheel steering techniques and handling under power. Learn seamanship, emergency handling, gear & equipment, marine weather, anchoring, heaving to, reefing, docking and much more. This is a 15 hour class taught over a weekend or two consecutive days during the week.
