FUNK 349 is meant to have fun. It’s name is a play on the classic rock song by Joe Walsh “Funk#49″. A song that is full of guitar riffs and contains a not too serious lyric. According to Wikipdia there were also at least two other versions, Funk#48 and Funk#50 so this boat continues that with FUNK 349. Other songs by Joe Walsh I like are Lifes Been Good and Indian Summer.
The 349 has won many awards including the 2015 Cruising World best boat of the year, the 2014 Consumer Choice award for best mono hull over 30′ at the Miami international boat show and received the prestigious 2015 Asia boating award for best worldwide production sailing yacht up to 50′.
